Here’s a quick walkthrough of a couple modules from the fine folks at Qu-Bit. First up we have the Prism, a multi-FX module with a filter, delay, and bit-crusher.

Next we have the Qu-Bit Chord V2. This module is a convenient means to get polyphony into your rack, refining the concept of the original and reducing its size by half!
As a change of pace from my Ask.Audio reviews, I’ve started doing videos on modules starting with these handsome devils from Metasonix. Videos make a bit more sense for conveying information about modules because you can see and hear what the module does, rather than relying on descriptions and/or sound clips and putting the two together. These modules have continued to surprise me with all kinds of weirdness since making these videos.
First up is the RK2 XS-VCA, which is not your average VCA.

Next up is the RK3 Ringer/Shaper, which is not really a ring-mod, nor a waveshaper. You’ll just have to watch the video to get a sense of what it’s about.
4MS was kind enough to send me their impressive Spherical Wavetable Navigator for review. The module is quite powerful and sounds amazing, but I’ll admit I did find it a little confusing to navigate the navigator. You can check out my full review here.
